A Burger King restaurant in Japan will allow customers to listen to their own music by docking iPods and other music devices beside their table. The sound then comes out of speaker-embedded bowls over each seating area which help isolate each different sound. Ace! So now you can listen to some swear infested Tool right next the obese couple and their five obese children.
I love the approach of being more receptive to people's ever changing needs. It is annoying when you sit down for a quick bite and N-fucking-Dubz come on the radio, or your meal happens to coincide with the entire Kenny G album, 'cus he's big Lou the manager's favorite.
